Graig Chapel

The 1900 built chapel in the centre of Pontypridd required extensive refurbishment to create a photography training studio. The client had unique requirements for remodelling the internal spaces. The design responded to the brief whilst maintaining the character of the original building. The insertion of a mezzanine floor that used the existing cast iron column structure provided additional floor area; the first floor raked seating and twin stair cases were retained, providing a useful, modern plan inside a untouched exterior.
