The extension and refurbishment of this inner city commercial premises will provide the client with an additional 300m² of accommodation. Site restrictions and the requirements of the conservation area context informed the design. Although economic viability was key to the success of the scheme, the client worked closely with the practice to maintain design cohesion between the existing premises and proposed extension.
